February’s Share the Plate has a Matching Challenge to Create a UUCOD Scholarship for Safe Schools Desert Cities.
Our beloved community will have the unique opportunity to sponsor its own scholarship for Safe Schools Desert Cities. Two members have generously issued a $500 matching challenge to fully fund a $1000 scholarship. This means if we collect $500 from the offering, they will match it with $500. If we raise a minimum of $1000, a scholarship will be listed as sponsored by UUCOD. How cool is that!
Worship Leader: Rev. Ian W. Riddell

We talk a lot about right relations these days. We even have a policy! But what does living in right relation with our neighbors and kin look like on a day-to-day basis? What does it feel like? How can we live more deeply into the beloved community together?
Join us as we view a portion of the Virtual 21st Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival.
We will view CommUNITY, a package of eight short films with the intention of inspiring solutions to restore the earth and human communities. The films visit diverse communities and share their solutions to the environmental challenges that they face.

When a group of thespians descends on a small town in coastal Maine for a playwright festival, a well-known producer/actor/director with a larger-than-life ego is found murdered at the quaint B&B where they are staying. With no weapon in sight and only a tea cozy (teapot warmer) as a clue, hijinks ensue at the B&B, where an offbeat cast of characters, all with an axe to grind, are suspects. The folksy....

Introduced by the Social Justice Committee in January 2023. Donate formula, which will be given to Galilee Center for distribution to their families with babies.
Why donate formula rather than money? Due to shortages, stores have been setting tight limits on the number of cans per purchase. Our donations help Galilee Center hand out more formula each month to families with babies who are unable to buy it on their own.
Click through to see images of the only powdered formulas they will accept....
