Prepping For Widowhood is a delightful and touching story of four ladies, best friends from college days, who often refer to themselves as the Four Seasons. They are navigating the changes in their lives as they enter their seventies. With each other and with one of their daughters, they examine their past, present, and future with wit, satire, and caring. They have shared much life along the way and now, in their winter months, are determined to make the most of their friendship and the possibilities that remain. Ultimately they arrive at the truth that applies to them all.
Robert Dames
Playwright, Producer and Director
Originally from St. Louis, he has written, produced, and or directed over 30 television series. He is also an award-winning playwright with both comedy and drama awards. Prepping For Widowhood was produced in January 2022 by The Best Medicine Rep company in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Along with a composer, Rob has completed two musicals recently.
Morgana Corelli
Director
This is Morgana Corelli’s second director role for Script to Stage to Screen, having done the wonderful Widow’s Waltz in November 2022. She has been in the desert since 2004 and has been involved in many productions as an actor and director. She has received numerous Desert Theatre League nominations. She has won awards for The Music Man as Mrs. Paroo, The Bad Seed as Hortense, and Del Shore’s Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife as Willadean.
