Beloved Conversations teaches the importance of learning to listen deeply in order to dismantle racism and white supremacy within ourselves, our communities, and our society.
Beloved Conversations: Virtual focuses on the WITHIN work first—the personal, internal work we all need to do—so that we can build relationships undergirded by self-understanding, compassion, and respect and stay grounded as we work to transform the world around us.
Cost: $250 USD per person (lay folks and religious professionals). White folks and anyone with economic privileges/ample professional expenses will be encouraged to pay more. Full and partial scholarships are plentiful and easily accessible!
No one will be turned away for a lack of funds. Please email JeKaren at belovedconversations@meadville.edu to request a full or half scholarship.
25 members of our congregation have participated in this valuable learning experience. They recommend it highly as we grow into our multiracial beloved community. Please contact Sandy Sladen or Rob Duwors to learn more about their experiences.
