Share the Plate – Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest Abortion Access Fund

On Tuesday, August 15, a fire broke out at Planned Parenthood’s Homan clinic in El Centro, the only provider of abortion services in Imperial County. The building was declared a total loss.  Fortunately, no staff or patients were injured and investigation sets the point of origin of the fire at an adjacent property. Nevertheless, Planned Parenthood will not be able to provide free or reduced-cost abortions in Imperial County until they rebuild, which they are committed to do.

The clinic has been the only access that many underserved people in Imperial County and coming in from Yuma, Arizona have had for reproductive care and abortion services.

Planned Parenthood Abortion Access Fund needs our support more than ever before. Your contributions to the access fund will assist Planned Parenthood to get uninsured or undocumented patients to services at other locations while they rebuild.
