UUCOD the Vote: May 2022, Voting Rights Campaign Resumes

Several states across the country have taken steps to make voting more difficult this year, with the purpose of discouraging full voter participation. We can help voters overcome this!

Take action to reach those voters by working with national organizations that are coordinating volunteers to reach out to voters to encourage them to cast their ballots in the 2022 elections.

Center for Common Ground serves under represented voters of color.  Find out more about the organization at https://www.centerforcommonground.org  You can register to volunteer for a phone bank or volunteer for a texting campaign.

Postcard campaigns will begin in late May for the November 2020 election coordinated by the Center for Common Ground “Reclaim Our Vote” postcard project. Use this link to register and to order postcards.

Our 2020 campaign was successfully coordinated by Gloria Kapp and Bryna Blum.  Over 40 UUCOD members wrote postcards, phoned voters and texted voters –we invite you to do this again or jon in for the first time.
