On the third Sunday of every month from October to June we share half of our plate collections with a non-profit 501c3 organization. The Share the Plate recipients have been nominated and elected by members and friends from a pool of non-profits organizations serving the Coachella Valley and surrounding desert cities.

This morning, as we are getting ready for a momentous election, we’ll explore what a spiritual commitment to democracy means and how we can work toward democratic thriving in the reality of our divided culture.

In times when anger/negativity is in such abundance, hope is the
spiritual response that will save us all from the disaster of despair.
Looking at faith traditions to live into the hope that living our faith
gives us, finding more similarities than differences.
However the election goes on Tuesday evening, we know that we've all been anxious and worried and uncertain for a long time leading up to this election. On Wednesday, November 6, our Sanctuary will be open for quiet reflection and connection for any who want to drop in. Come and rest in this quiet space.
Gather with Rev. Ian for a time of quiet, words, and music on the day after our national election. We'll share what's in our hearts and bring our spirits together for contemplation/prayer and connection.
Join us for choir practice on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm. All are welcome...from beginning to advanced singing levels. We hope to see you there!
