Facilities Work Party: On hold until September

We meet each Monday morning to take care of the grounds and building. We might be pulling weeds, changing light bulbs, doing light painting or repairs, or whatever the group has the skills and interest in doing. Drop-ins welcome.

Our Pride Should be a Promise

Worship Leader: Rev. Ian W. Riddell
Worship Associate: Joni Padduck

All of us, and especially those of us part of the LGBTQI+ communities have much to be grateful for and proud of as we see the changes in our world over the past years. But our work is not done. How can we imagine together the needs of today’s world? Whose pride—and safety and dignity—are we called to struggle for today?

Thanksgiving: If You Have a Table Blessing

Worship Leader:  Rev. Ian W. Riddell
Worship Associate:  Bob Rancourt
As we prepare ourselves for gathering around a table in thanks, what is in our minds and hearts. Who do we carry with us as we feast and offer gratitude?

The Earthiness of the Buddha-Dharma

Worship Leader: Ian Challis
Worship Associate: Peter Mathews
One of the most beautiful aspects of Buddhist teaching is the way we are invited to remember our deep interconnection to the planet and all life -- to honor and care for Earth as our source, great teacher, and witness. Growth and freedom arise from deep knowing of this earthly experience.

Ministry for the Earth, Part One: “How to Survive the End of the World”
Worship Leader: Rev. Dr. Donald Stouder
Worship Associate: Bryna Blum
Rev. Don will be joining us on January 2 and January 23, 2022 to present a series of sermons addressing different themes in climate change and climate justice. His sermons will be built around one overarching theme: that our 7th principle has to be urgently embraced, and that we will never get a break to build a better world. We have to do it while still surviving in this one.

Sunday Together

Zoom

Join us in this social event replacing our customary after worship coffee hour.  It allows us to stay connected even when we can't attend worship services in person.  The discussion can be anything from the sermon topic to chatting informally among friends.
