Interest Groups

We look forward to forming new interest groups - we welcome your participation!

Interest Groups

BIOPOC

Black, Indigenous and Other People of Color

This group is for our members and friends who identify as Black, Indigenous and Other People of Color so that there is a safe space to hang out, have time for self-care and honest loving conversation.  The group meets for spiritual practices that refill, renew, and support wholeness.
Meets: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm via Zoom
Contact: Sarah Gonzales

Chalice Circle Groups

Chalice Circles are groups of 8 to 10 members and friends of
our church community who commit to meet monthly with a facilitator to talk in
meaningful ways about things that matter in life. Each month, Circles delve
into a different topic – such as belonging, or living in uncertain times, or forgiveness.
Brief readings and questions give the conversations focus and members share from
their own life experiences.  The Circles deepen our relationships with one another and offer opportunities to grow spiritually.
Meets: Schedule set in each group. Circles are meeting over Zoom.

Choir

Love to sing? We can't be in the building to practice, and haven't figured out how we stay together during these distancing times, but we are trying to stay connected. Come connect and sing with our UUCOD choir. New Voices are always Welcome! Contact us.

Script2Stage2Screen (S2S2S)

2020 Spring Season Cancelled

Script2Stage2Screen is a performing arts project of UUCOD. We are an innovative performing arts organization for the development of original productions. Our dynamic ensemble of playwrights, actors, and technicians develops new productions. We seek to involve UUCOD friends and members in all aspects of the organization.

Formed in 2010 by a small group of playwrights, we've grown into a diverse performing arts organization. We strive to be a truly innovative and produce plays and films that engage our social consciousness as part of our commitment to the principles of Unitarian Universalism on which we were founded.
